Explanation
Depression Quest is an interactive story that explores the effect of depression in different aspect of someone life. When you begin you are given basic information about the character you play as, with hyperlinks to give you more information on specific things like his social circle, job, family and his current girlfriend. The way the player progresses through the game is by choosing what the character will do out of the available actions. The actions that are available rely on a few things like depression level and specific event within the game like the taking of medication or seeing a therapist.
Mechanically it’s a simple game. You choose what you want the character to do from the available options. Each choice in turn effect his depression level. The game isn't oriented around winning but more about experiencing the players life through his eyes and thoughts. ________________________________________________________________

Additional Notes
Some choices where shown but crossed out to show how depression effect your decision making. The more depressed the player became the more choices you where unable to choose. The pictures on the top are a nice touch to show the focus of the narrative but the picture aren't that unique and same pictures are reuse often. The Status in the bottom is a good way to see if your depression is getting worse or better. The character you play as isn't develop so its easier for you to imagine yourself as the character but I feel like this hurt the game more than it helped since you don’t really feel an attachment to the character.
